Exploring Features and Assets of Adobe XD

Adobe XD is an application which is vector based. It works on both macOS and Windows. XD also helps in creating website wireframing and prototypes. On the other hand, it also helps in creating user interfaces for mobile and web apps.  Earlier some features in XD were very hard to use. It also helps to create UI in different Break points like:- Extra small, small, medium, large, extra-large for different platforms . it provides UI kit to make our work easy. It is very easy to use. The professionals who use this software are UX designers, UI designers, web designers, web application designers, Mobile application designers etc. In adobe XD first, we design and second we do prototyping and then we share it.
1. Design: Design includes content, image and some dummy texts. It is an important part. After deciding the topic, some ideas come in our mind and by using those ideas we make our designs. Designing is the main element because in the absence of design we can’t prototype and share anything.
2. Prototyping: This is the second stage in adobe XD. After making wireframes or design we prototypes them. Prototyping refers to the linking between different artboards or pages. it is an important part. It gives life to our design.
3. Share: Adobe XD also allows to share our designs. We can create a public link and share it with the public. On the other hand, we can share it with the privacy and password. we can also save our file on computer.

Features of Adobe XD

There are many features in Adobe XD like:-

  • plugins: Adobe XD feature plugins increase your design workflow. It Creates a deep connection with external tools and services. For example:- if you have a need to use any icon , maps and etc. , you can install and use it.
  • Repeat grid: This feature gives this software an edge.  When you need to create same design multiple times you can use repeat grid. The repeat grid saves your time, and makes your design better.
  • Prototypes and animation: After making wireframes and designs, it is the prototypes which gives life to our design. Good designs might look great on screen but prototypes generate the actual user experience. Prototypes creates a link between different artboards. Prototypes makes our work more attractive.
